BATAVIA BLENDED WHISKY is a Class C alcoholic beverage which made by factory that located in the Tabanan Bali along with high-quality ingredients, through a long process, and strictly supervise.

BATAVIA's name comes from a high mast sail ship made by the Netherlands (VOC). Besides, Indonesian people know the name of Batavia as the name of the Indonesia capital during the colonial period.

The name Batavia has a meaningful history and culture for the Indonesian people and made this is our reason to using it as the name of the Indonesian local of Whisky product which was born in 2020. Batavia has a the tagline “The Whisky Born From Heritage”

Mystery of
OAK

Astidama Distillery was built in 2004 at Tabanan, Bali. To produce such a world-class spirit, BATAVIA-Blended Whisky uses only selected malts from the UK and high quality grains. The whole production process is in accordance with International Standards. First, the barley is fermented in giant pots and carefully monitored in every phase. Once it’s done, the fermentation result is moved to big copper pots for distillation until it reaches a 95% alcohol content.

To create a distinctive whisky, Batavia Whisky uniquely mature the distilled result in 2 kinds of casks.

First, poured the distillate’s into American-Oak casks before pouring into French-Oak casks. The whisky is matured for several years until the desired unique aroma, taste and finish is achieved.

Batavia Whisky come in two range of shapes and sizes, from regular size (700 ml) and smaller size (350 ml).

Batavia Whisky is produced at the beautiful Astidama Distillery in Tabanan-Bali, the First distillery in Indonesia.

Astidama distillery located on the west of Badung, stretching from the coastline are massive black rocks up to the heart of the mountains. These mountains contain an abundance of springs, some of which have water of the highest purity.

Batavia Whisky is a non-age statement whisky type.

There is no expiry date for Batavia Whisky as distilled spirits are shelf stable at ambient temperatures. To keep your unopened bottle in mint condition, we recommend that it is stored upright in a cool, ventilated environment of medium humidity, away from strong odors.

First, Batavia Whisky should always be consumed responsibly. There is no right way to drink Batavia Whisky - you can enjoy it in whatever way you want. Whisky-lovers often drink Batavia Whisky neat, on the rocks or with a few drops of water. Another choices are mix it with cola or cold green tea, but cocktails can take Batavia Whisky to another level.
